Susan McConnell, MAPD, CHT, senior trainer for the IFS Institute since 1997, has taught Internal Family Systems in the US and internationally and has developed curricula and mentored other trainers. She is the founding developer of Somatic IFS. Somatic IFS is the culmination of her experience and teaching of various bodywork, movement, spiritual, and psychotherapeutic modalities that facilitate the embodiment of the internal family.
Susan teaches workshops, retreats and trainings in Somatic IFS to participants throughout the world who have learned that by embodying the subpersonalities as well as the essential core Self with somatic practices, both individual and societal burdens can be safely and compassionately witnessed and transformed.
